As COVID-19 pandemic recovery continues, families are surrendering their pandemic puppies at high rates, filling up local shelters. Plus, July is a tough month for our four-legged pals. Scary fireworks and summer heat mean many dogs may run away, need to be rescued, or given extra medical attention.
The foundation is collecting donations of household items and pet supplies July 1-31 to support local at-risk animals through a gift to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Cash donations will be used to purchase additional supplies from their wish list.
